What is Rootwell and how does the process work?
Rootwell is a digital platform for medically supervised hair loss treatments. You answer a few questions online about your health and hair loss. Subsequently, a licensed doctor personally assesses whether a treatment is medically suitable for you and which formula is right for you.
If a treatment is prescribed to you, a German partner pharmacy will prepare your medication based on the doctor's prescription and send it directly to your home.
Is the inquiry really free of charge?
Yes. Completing the questionnaire and the medical review of your information are free of charge. If no treatment is prescribed to you, you will incur no costs. You will only incur costs if you decide to proceed with a treatment plan.
What happens if the doctor doesn't prescribe you any treatment?
Your safety is our top priority. The doctor may decline your request if the treatment is not suitable for you or if your hair loss should first be investigated in another way. In this case, you will not incur any costs.
When can I expect the first results?
Hair growth is a long-term process. Visible changes in hair density usually require six to twelve months of consistent use. For individuals who respond quickly, the first results may be visible after 3 months.
How quickly and how strongly you respond to the treatment is individual. A guaranteed promise of efficacy cannot be given. Factors such as age, duration and extent of hair loss, and regular application can influence the result. That's why we accompany you long-term.
Is the treatment offered as a subscription?
Hair growth takes time. Initial changes often only become visible after several months, and the effect largely depends on regular application. The subscription ensures that your treatment is replenished in time and that no unnecessary interruptions occur.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can choose the initial term of your subscription. After the initial term, your subscription will continue indefinitely and can be cancelled at any time with one month's notice. Three-month supplies already delivered will be paid in full; no further deliveries will be made after your cancellation takes effect.
Who can help me if I have questions or complaints?
In our experience, side effects are extremely rare. Should they occur, we can investigate whether the application needs adjusting, the formula changing, or the entire treatment approach needs revising. In such cases, you can always contact service@rootwell.de and a medical contact person will get in touch with you.
